Mira Kehoe has taught voice, speech, dialects and acting at the University of Minnesota, the University of Utah, Hamline University, the Guthrie Theater, and consults with individuals, theaters, schools, and corporations. She has a broad background in movement for the actor, having studied both Alexander and Feldenkrais work, martial arts, yoga, Pilates, and many forms of dance and expressive movement. Mira has coached at several area theaters including the Children’s Theater, Theatre de la Jeune Lune, the Jungle, Minnesota Opera, North Star Opera, over 80 productions at the Guthrie Theater, and at Brooklyn Academy of Music in NY. She has worked in film as a Dialect consultant on Sugar and Spice, The Naked Man, The Parent Trap, and The Mighty Ducks. Some of her clients have included Balogh Becker, Ltd, Shop NBC, MPR, and Allina. She teaches singing, and performs jazz and Brazilian music with Tom Kehoe.
